CCJE Pinning of Ranks Crafting Excellence, Molding Leaders

The Notre Dame of Midsayap College, through the College of Criminal Justice Education-Reserve Officers' Training Corps, comes back for its annual pinning ceremony.

After being hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, the department’s celebration and culmination of the blood and sweat of the students and the painstaking discipline process finally returned in full throttle.

According to Mrs. Rosario J. Gapasin, LPT, during her opening remarks, those who are members of the ROTC can use this as a good foundation for their education and future careers. The training teaches leadership skills like modesty and curiosity, and the most important thing for the next generation of responsible citizens is to serve others without expecting anything in return.

To honor the ROTC cadets' uphill battle, the spotlight was poised towards them, allowing their respective escorts to witness how hard they worked to be in the place where they are at the moment and don their ranks. Following was the recitation of the Cadet's creed.

The event was made even more special with the presence of the Municipality of Midsayap Mayor, Hon. Rolando "Rolly" Sacdalan. The Municipality Mayor delivered his warm and inspiring message, focusing on the importance of youth in nation-building.

The program would be incomplete without the sumptuous dinner, which filled the dining hall with clanking utensils and full, satisfied paunches.

The Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) is one component of the NSTP program. It is designed to provide military training to citizen soldiers to motivate, train, organize, and mobilize them for national defense preparedness.
