Notre Dame of Midsayap College Alumni Association Hosts a Lavish Alumni Homecoming

Notre Dame of Midsayap College Alumni Association celebrated the Grand Alumni Homecoming last December 30, 2022, at the Bulwagang Genoveva Deles Jaranilla with the theme, "Empowered Dameans: Rising in Solidarity in Realizing Sustainability."

To start the program right, the Holy Mass was held and was presided over by Fr. Alvin Baretto, OMI, and Fr. Don Singco, OMI. The mass has been offered to the Lord Almighty for the sustenance He gave and for the day that the alumni have been gathered.

The NDMCAA board member, Cherry S. Garcia, warmly welcomed and thanked the Board of Directors, Officers, alumni, NDMC personnel, family, friends, and guests for attending and cooperating with that said event.

One of the highlights of the program is the awarding of Outstanding Alumni together with the NDMC Vice President for Administration, Engr. George C. Serot, MAS.

The list of outstanding alumni awardees includes the following: Gladyz Zire Batulan-Bauzon of HS Batch 2002, Dominador Palgan Jr. of HS Batch 1997, Dr. Myla Faye Villamor-Viado of HS Batch 1992, Raquel Tarongoy-Gamallo of HS Batch 1987, Mary Corinne Postrado-Mamba of NDMC-ETD 1982, Gina Dela Cruz Maquinto Vda De Orquina of HS Batch 1982, Eduardo Pillos Antonio of HS Batch 1977, and Virginia Ma-Singco of HS Batch 1972.

Meanwhile, the representatives from each alumni batch showcased their swag movements and angelic voices through dance routines and familiar melodic songs in NDMCAA Got Talent. 

Furthermore, to make the event complete and colorful, the afternoon event unveiled the Alumni's most creatively customized shirt through modeling.  

Finally,HS Batch 1987 had the most registered batches; HS Batch 2002 had the best batch uniform. Most Jolly Batch (in the motorcade) - HS Batch 2002 Best in Got Talent: Category A - HS Batch 1977 Category B - HS Batch 1987 and Elizabeth Baladhay, NDMC-ETD 1982/HS Batch 1986 undeniably brought home the crown as she successfully vied for the Mutya ng Alumni 2022.

The Alumni Home Coming is a yearly celebration that allows alumni to return to their roots to reminisce and reconnect with those who were a part of their journey as students. This has also strengthened the ties between the former students and the institution.
