Bueno wins NDMC 80th Logo design, Macatual bags Jingle grand prize

Dennis Eliezer Bueno, an alumnus from the College of Information Technology and Engineering (2007) wins grand champion in the NDMC 80thLogo design competition. 
There were 13 entries submitted for the said competition embodying the theme “Grateful and Great: Making a Positive Difference for 80 Years and Beyond”. 
Bueno was unanimously picked as champion by the select panel of judges composed of John Mamacos - Senior Graphics Designer Midtown Printing Co. Inc., Davao City, Ariel Cuadra - Assistant Pre-Press Manager Midtown Printing Co. Inc., Davao City and Ramon Paolo  Jaranilla - Lead 3D Designer, Richard Attias & Associates Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
 The online judging for the logo contest was done between May 17 to 22. Bueno will receive P10, 080 and plaque. The top 4 entries will receive P1,080 and certificate. 
Last May 25, the Jingle making contest was staged for judging at La Primera Function Hall. 5 entries went into the scrutiny of the board of judges composed of Al Corpuz, Chat Moralde and Baby Morente – all musical stage play royalties. 

The composition and performance of Lenie Rose Macatual entitled “Grateful” was ranked grand winner. Macatual will receive P15, 080 while the top 4 entries will receive P2, 080.

The awarding of prizes for the Logo design and Jingle making will be on June 14, Monday at the Bulwagang Genoveva Deles-Jaranilla at 8:00 in the morning during the Launching Program of NDMC 80th Founding Anniversary.
