Championing AI in Graduate Education: NDMC Faculty Shines at the 56th PAGE National Convention

The Philippine Association for Graduate Education (PAGE), Inc. held its 56th Annual National Convention and General Assembly on September 4–6, 2025 at the University of the Cordilleras, Baguio City, with the theme “Advancing Philippine Graduate Education Through Artificial Intelligence.” The event brought together administrators, educators, and researchers nationwide to explore the opportunities, challenges, and ethical dimensions of AI in graduate education.

Representing Notre Dame of Midsayap College and Region XII SOCCSKSARGEN, Ms. Aileen D. Escote, SHS Assistant Principal, earned the distinction of Best Poster Presenter Award during the research session on September 5, 2025. Out of 15 presenters nationwide, her recognition affirmed NDMC’s strong commitment to innovation, excellence, and purposeful scholarship.

The convention featured plenary sessions and workshops led by distinguished speakers, including Dr. Edizon Fermin, Dr. Faridah Kristi C. Wetherick, and Mr. Jack Brazel, who shared insights on AI and academic integrity, learner experience design, assessment, and policy development.
