College of Education Honors 2025 LET Passers in Testimonial Dinner
The College of Education (CED) of Notre Dame of Midsayap College paid tribute to its successful Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) passers through a Testimonial Dinner held on August 23, 2025, at the Bulwagang Genoveva Deles-Jaranilla. The event celebrated not only the achievements of the passers but also the values of dedication and service that define Damean educators.
The program began with the entrance of the honorees, followed by the Invocation led by selected students. Attendees then joined voices in the National Anthem, the Midsayap Hymn, and the Notre Dame March.
In her Welcome Address, Mary Jean J. Clarito, LPT, MAEd, BEED Program Head, warmly congratulated the honorees. She highlighted their perseverance and commitment, which brought pride to the College of Education. NDMC President Fr. Ramon Maria G. Bernabe, OMI then delivered an Inspirational Message, reminding the passers to carry the Damean core values into their professional journeys as educators.
The highlight of the afternoon was the Giving of Certificates to the Honorees, led by Fr. Ramon Maria G. Bernabe, OMI and Dr. Honeylyn M. Mahinay, LPT, CED Dean, who together affirmed the graduates’ academic and professional milestones.
To symbolize the continuity of the teaching vocation, the program included the Challenge to the Seniors, delivered by Diana Rose Catulong, LPT and Harold Pinongpong, LPT, with Nikka Rivas. Representing the student body, Kryz Andrey C. Glimada, CED Governor and a 4th-year student, gave the Response to the Challenge, assuring the honorees that the future educators of NDMC are ready to continue the legacy they leave behind.
This was followed by an Intermission Number by the LSG Officers, which enlivened the gathering with a showcase of talent and camaraderie. A symbolic Giving of Pencils further emphasized the enduring responsibility of educators to mold the next generation.
The program also recognized the success of the passers, with Closing Remarks delivered by Ludivina G. Senarabre, LPT, MAEng, who commended them for upholding the reputation of NDMC as a home of excellent educators.
The evening concluded with a fellowship dinner, followed by the Giving of Awards, the Unity Song, and the traditional Notre Dame Hymn, echoing the unity and triumph of the CED community.
Hosted by the Masters and Ladies of Ceremony, the Testimonial Dinner 2025 stood as a testament to the collective effort of faculty, administrators, and peers in shaping competent, compassionate, and globally competitive educators. It was a memorable evening of gratitude, recognition, and renewed commitment to the noble calling of teaching.
