The school conducted a brief yet comprehensive PAASCU assembly for all college students at exactly ten earlier this day that commenced with a solemn prayer. Running after are the singings of the Philippine National Anthem, Midsayap hymn, and Notre Dame hymn. The hosts of the event, Mr. Christian Ting and Ms. Xyla Cantomayor, then pumped up the students' zest through a roll call.

In due course, Eng. Ronniel D. Labio, the VPAA, took the floor and started his informative presentation by congratulating the outstanding students who excelled in various events during the Sinugba 2022. Such NDMC pride includes the St. Eugene De Mazenod Band winning the band battle; and Ms. Lhenzy Bingil, a BSHM student, bringing home the bacon as the first-ever Reyna ng Sinugba. Ms. Jane Desiree Duguil, an alumna of the NDMC-SHS Department Batch 2020, won the Binibining Midsayap crown, the CCJE Silent Drill successfully, and the undefeated Sinagdayag.

The VPAA also commended the victorious, sweet ending of the NDMC RAMS for landing third runner-up in the LYR Cup. He also recognized the sterling board performances of the graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Social Work and the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy who passed the licensure examination this year. Thus, he progressed in explaining why we had PAASCU and its importance for the institution and the undergraduate. He said that if the programs up for accreditation pass and even exceed the PAASCU's standards, there is a good chance of achieving the institution's university dream.

Subsequently, the ever-active Quality Assurance Directress, Ms. Ma. Ezelle Bayog, took the crowd in command, explained what PAASCU is, and shared relevant information on why accreditation is done. She also discussed the purpose of PAASCU—to help promote and advance quality education. The series of PAASCU visits will start on December 5-6, 2022, for the Resurvey visit to the Liberal Arts, Education, Business Education, and Accountancy programs, and the visit for Public Administration and Hospitality Management. On December 12–13, 2022, the formal survey visit to Nursing, Criminology, Information Systems, and Computer Engineering shall be conducted, as well as the interim visit to Computer Science and Information Technology. Accreditors will perform both onsite and online evaluations under a blended accreditation model.

Also given weight is the importance of the accreditation—it provides the educational institution with an opportunity for critical analysis leading to improvements in quality, services, and the way operations are done. This, in one way or another, signifies that an institution or program has attained standards above those prescribed by government agencies.
