NDMC Celebrates Buwan ng Wika 2025 through “Hiraya Manawari”

The Hiraya Manawari Club, in collaboration with the Chefprenuer Club, officially opened the Buwan ng Wika 2025 celebration on August 12, 2025, after the flag ceremony at NDMC Mahangin Area. The event marked the beginning of a month-long celebration honoring the Filipino language and culture. Students participated in trivia games and were introduced to upcoming contests, including Slogan and Poster Making, Quiz Bee, Booth Design, and Mr. and Ms. Hiraya Manawari 2025.

Throughout August, students from different strands showcased their talent and creativity through various contests that promoted love for the Filipino and native languages. The celebration culminated on August 29, 2025, at the Genoveva Deles Jaranilla Hall, featuring performances, competitions, and cooking showcases that highlighted Filipino unity, artistry, and identity.

In her closing message, Hiraya Manawari Club President Jessa Mae Bretaña expressed gratitude to all participants, organizers, and faculty members for making the event a success. The celebration truly embodied the spirit of “Hiraya Manawari”—a vision of hope and unity through language, culture, and creativity.
