Notre Dame of Midsayap College (NDMC) actively participated in the Disc Golf Development Seminar and Skills Clinic conducted by the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) from May 21–23, 2026, at the USM Main Campus in Kabacan, Cotabato. The three-day activity gathered sports enthusiasts, coordinators, physical educators, coaches, athletes, and students from various institutions across the province to promote and develop the growing sport of disc golf.

The seminar was sponsored by the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) in partnership with the Disc Golf Association of the Philippines (DGAP) and USM. Representing NDMC were Danilo L. Pagaduan Jr., Jeson D. Antonio, and Ricky M. Cesario, who actively participated in the discussions, workshops, and practical sessions throughout the event.

The training was led by Maria Luisa Bartolome Robins, National Director and PDGA Asia Ambassador, together with members of the Philippine Disc Golf Team. Participants received comprehensive training on disc golf development, including PDGA rules, tournament management, officiating, course development, player development, and advanced techniques in the sport.

A highlight of the seminar was the hands-on skills clinic and tournament simulation conducted at the USM Disc Golf Course. Participants were given the opportunity to apply their learning in actual gameplay, enhancing their understanding of the sport while developing their skills in strategy, accuracy, and sportsmanship.

Through its participation, NDMC continues to strengthen its commitment to sports development by exposing its coaches and personnel to emerging sports and innovative training opportunities. The seminar concluded with the awarding of certificates on May 23, 2026, recognizing the participants’ successful completion of the program.
