The Notre Dame of Midsayap College, College of Nursing successfully conducted the NDMC Research Forum 2025 on October 20, 2025, at the Primera Hall, carrying the theme “Transforming Ideas Into Impact: The Power of Nursing Research in Improving Human Health.” The activity gathered BSN 3 and 4 students, faculty members, and guest speakers in a meaningful academic event focused on advancing nursing research and evidence-based healthcare practices.

The forum featured insightful discussions from distinguished speakers, namely Dr. Jainah Rose G. Amilbahar, Mr. Dennis Amando, and Ms. Lalyn N. Cabauatan. They emphasized the importance of research in improving healthcare systems, guiding nursing practice, and developing innovative solutions for patient care.

Student researchers and poster presenters confidently showcased their studies, demonstrating professionalism, critical thinking, and dedication to meaningful nursing research. The event also highlighted the collaborative efforts of student leaders and committees who worked together for months to ensure the success of the seminar—from planning and coordination to venue preparation and program execution.

Beyond academic learning, the activity strengthened students’ leadership, teamwork, communication, and organizational skills. It reinforced the idea that nursing research is not only about gathering data but also about transforming ideas into actions that improve human health and community well-being.
