NDMC Conducts Personality Development Seminar for Student-Athletes
On October 17, 2025, the Notre Dame of Midsayap College (NDMC), through the College Sports Office and the Office of Student Affairs and Services in collaboration with the Guidance and Testing Center, successfully conducted the Personality Development Seminar for Student-Athletes at the Primera Function Hall. Anchored on the theme “Strength of Skills, Strength of Character,” the activity aimed to strengthen discipline, emotional control, sportsmanship, and leadership among student-athletes.
The seminar featured interactive activities and discussions designed to help participants develop self-awareness, teamwork, integrity, and responsible behavior both on and off the playing field. Resource persons and facilitators emphasized the importance of character formation, emotional intelligence, and maintaining the values of a true Notre Damean athlete.
A highlight of the activity was the Code of Honor Contract, where participants pledged their commitment to uphold NDMC’s values in all competitions and endeavors. Through reflection and group activities, the student-athletes gained valuable insights on handling pressure, demonstrating respect, and exhibiting sportsmanship.
The activity concluded with a renewed commitment among the athletes to represent NDMC with excellence, discipline, and integrity. Through this initiative, NDMC reaffirmed its dedication to developing well-rounded student-athletes whose strength is reflected not only in their skills but also in their character.
