NDMC-IBED Athletes Shine in SRAA Meet 2026
The Notre Dame of Midsayap College – Integrated Basic Education Department (NDMC-IBED) proudly participated in the Soccskargen Regional Athletic Association (SRAA) Meet 2026 held on April 6–12, 2026, in Sultan Kudarat. The regional sporting event gathered thousands of athletes and coaches from across Region XII, including delegations from Cotabato Province, General Santos City, Koronadal City, Kidapawan City, Sarangani Province, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, and Tacurong City.
Representing Cotabato Province, NDMC-IBED student-athletes joined various sporting competitions and proudly showcased their skills, discipline, teamwork, and determination throughout the week-long event. The SRAA Meet served as a platform for young athletes to demonstrate excellence in sports while promoting unity, camaraderie, and sportsmanship among participating delegations.
The opening ceremony highlighted the rich culture and identity of Sultan Kudarat and featured inspiring messages emphasizing perseverance, resilience, and continuous growth. One of the most memorable moments was the torch lighting ceremony led by Hidilyn Diaz, the Philippines’ first Olympic gold medalist, whose presence inspired athletes to pursue greatness through discipline and dedication.
Throughout the competition, NDMC-IBED athletes displayed commendable performances in their respective events. Several student-athletes successfully qualified for the prestigious Palarong Pambansa, bringing pride and honor to the institution and the Cotabato Province delegation. Their achievements reflected months of hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence.
Beyond medals and victories, the SRAA Meet also strengthened friendships, teamwork, and character formation among participants. Athletes learned the importance of humility, resilience, respect, and discipline—values that define true champions both in sports and in life.
