NDMC Joins Division Training-Workshop on Campus Journalism for School Paper Advisers
The Division Training-Workshop on Campus Journalism for School Paper Advisers was successfully conducted on October 2–4, 2025, at President Roxas National High School, co-hosted by President Roxas Central Elementary School. The three-day event aimed to enhance the journalistic knowledge, technical writing skills, and ethical practices of school paper advisers across the division in preparation for the upcoming Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2025.
Led by the Cotabato Division School Paper Advisers Association (CDSPAA), the training featured simultaneous sessions for elementary and secondary levels, covering various journalism categories such as news, feature, editorial, sports, and science writing, as well as photojournalism and broadcasting. Expert speakers provided insightful lectures and workshops focused on effective newsroom management and responsible media practice.
One of the event highlights was the recognition of The Dusk Publication adviser, who proudly earned 2nd Place in Feature Writing. The training concluded with an awarding ceremony, celebrating excellence and collaboration among campus journalists.
This initiative reaffirmed the importance of responsible and ethical journalism in nurturing young storytellers and advancing truth in media.
