PSQ Conducts ISO 21001:2018 Documentation Training for Notre Dame of Midsayap College
May 18, 2026 (Online) – The Philippine Society for Quality (PSQ) successfully conducted an online in-house training on ISO 21001:2018 Documentation for the quality assurance and administrative staff of Notre Dame of Midsayap College, Inc. (NDMC). This is part of its continuing efforts to strengthen organizational capability in quality management systems for educational organizations.
The training was personally facilitated by Dr. Zandra N. Maningas, President of PSQ, who guided participants through the essential principles and requirements of ISO 21001:2018, with particular focus on maintained and retained documented information.
During the session, Dr. Maningas highlighted the standard’s three focal points, the emphasis areas, and documentary evidence required for each clause, as well as the specific roles and responsibilities of higher education institution personnel in sustaining an effective educational organization management system. She also discussed the crucial distinctions introduced in the 2025 version of the standard, enabling participants to better prepare for evolving quality assurance requirements.
The program aimed to capacitate NDMC personnel with practical knowledge and strategies to strengthen documentation practices, support compliance efforts, and enhance the institution’s quality management initiatives. Through interactive discussions and contextualized examples, participants gained deeper insights into the effective implementation of ISO 21001 standards within the educational setting.
