They are called as Second Parents. Their roles vary from being a counselor, director, choreographer, entertainer, coach, spiritual adviser. But most importantly they are teachers – the noblest of all professions.

The Bulwagang Genoveva Deles-Jaranilla on October 4, 2019 was abound with flowers, balloons, cards and countless greetings and hugs for their mentors. These gestures of love and respect moved the NDMC faculty to tears as the students joyfully celebrate the World Teachers Day.

The mass was offered in celebration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi and the life-changing contributions of the teachers to developing empowered and humane citizens.

Fr. Ian Dignos, OMI – the School Chaplain presided the mass together with Fr. Jonathan Domingo, OMI – NDMC President as co-presider.

Birthday celebrants for the month of October trooped the ceremonial area for the blessing. The teachers received flowers, balloons and wishes prior to the final blessing.
