The premier dance troupe of the Notre Dame of Midsayap College – SinagDayag is testing the waters of national dance competition as they set their focus, precision and artistry in Sayaw Pinoy 2019.

The biggest convergence of the best and startling dancers in the folk, contemporary and hip-hop dances will happen on October 19-20, 2019 at the Rizal Park Open Field Arena.

SinagDayag will send its entry in Folk and Contemporary Dances. Jan Lincoln Rivas,LPT and Jenie Philip Saniel,LPT are the mentor/choreographer/trainer for the Folk and Contemporary dance respectively. The 30 dance troupe members battle academics and social life over their most concentration in perfecting the dance routines.

The brain child of the National Commission on Culture and the Arts, Sayaw Pinoy promotes the ingenuity, creativity and choreography that is encapsulated in a dance. More than 50 entries for each dance genre, coming from the different provinces of the Philippines all vie for the grand champion and a cash prize of P70, 000.00.
