Southeast Asian Institute of Technology Holds Two-Day Digital Forensic and ACE-V Training
On January 24–25, 2026, the Southeast Asian Institute of Technology conducted the “2-Day Digital Forensic Photography and ACE-V Training” in support of the initiatives of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to strengthen faculty competence and curriculum relevance in criminology and forensic science.
The seminar was facilitated by Mr. Jury A. Rocamora, RCrim, who provided expert instruction on the ACE-V methodology for fingerprint examination, latent print lifting techniques, standard procedures in drug operations, and digital forensic photography. The program combined lectures with hands-on workshops, allowing participants to apply forensic techniques using proper documentation and chain-of-custody standards.
Faculty members, students, and law enforcement personnel participated in the training, enhancing their technical skills, legal awareness, and ethical practices in forensic investigation.
The activity reinforced the institution’s commitment to delivering quality, industry-aligned criminology education and professional development.
