NDMC Faculty Trained on OrangeApps Learning Management System

On July 30, 2025, the Grade School and Junior High School faculty of Notre Dame of Midsayap College participated in the OrangeApps Orientation and Training held at the Computer Laboratory, RSB Building – 4th Floor. The session was led by the OrangeApps Team: Arci Fruel, Aaron Rontes Cariño, Melnard Payson Jr., and Malou Otico Sagun.

The training introduced faculty members to the OrangeApps platform, designed to streamline school processes and support paperless education. Teachers learned how to encode grades and attendance through a four-step process (download, encode, upload, submit), generate grade summaries, and access automated features for Form 137, Form 138, diplomas, and ranking certificates.

In the afternoon, participants explored the Learning Management System (LMS) at ndmidsayaplms.orangeapps.ph, where they practiced uploading learning materials, creating activities, and managing classes online. Hands-on activities allowed teachers to immediately apply what they learned and troubleshoot potential issues.

The training emphasized the system’s potential to reduce teacher workload, ensure accuracy, and enhance communication between teachers and students. Faculty members expressed enthusiasm about adopting the platform to strengthen both efficiency and teaching quality.

This initiative supports SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure by promoting digital learning, fostering innovation, and preparing educators for a technology-driven academic environment.
