LRC Benchmarking Activity in Davao City
The Learning Resource Center (LRC) librarians of Notre Dame of Midsayap College conducted a three-day benchmarking activity in Davao City from May 21 to 23, 2025. The activity aimed to learn best practices, enhance library services, and strengthen collaboration with other academic and public libraries.
Visited institutions included the University of the Immaculate Conception (Main, Jacinto, and Bajada Campuses), University of Southeastern Philippines (USEP-Obrero), Ateneo de Davao University (IBED and College Libraries), Davao City Library and Information Center, and the University of Mindanao (Matina Campus).
The NDMC librarians gained valuable insights into digital innovations, library automation, research support, and community engagement. Each institution showcased its unique approach to promoting accessible and inclusive library services.
The benchmarking fostered collaboration and continuous learning, paving the way for stronger partnerships and improved library programs at NDMC.
