NDMC Administrators Attend Training on the Strengthened SHS Curriculum

School administrators of Notre Dame of Midsayap College (NDMC) participated in the Training for School Administrators on the Strengthened Senior High School (SHS) Curriculum held on October 16–17, 2025, at the University of the Immaculate Conception – Bajada Campus. The training gathered private school leaders to prepare for the effective implementation of the revised SHS curriculum.

NDMC was represented by the School Administrator, together with Strand Coordinators Ms. Loribee Ann T. Cabangisan and Mrs. Rowena R. Jadraque, and Mrs. Chinitt P. Sinco. Their participation ensured a shared understanding of the curriculum changes and strengthened collaborative planning for a smooth transition.

The training provided an overview of the key features of the Strengthened SHS Curriculum, including revised core subjects, elective clusters, and suggested class schedules, as discussed by Dr. Gina L. Montalan. Sessions also focused on the implications of the revised curriculum for school operations, including faculty assignments, scheduling, resource utilization, and institutional linkages.

Hands-on workshops allowed participants to develop School Implementation Plans and School Re-entry Plans aligned with faculty qualifications and available resources. On the second day, participants refined their plans, identified necessary partnerships, and presented outputs for feedback, further enhancing readiness for implementation by School Year 2026–2027.

The training strengthened NDMC’s capacity for curriculum leadership and planning. The active involvement of Strand Coordinators ensured alignment, clarity, and preparedness, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to delivering quality and responsive senior high school education.
