PAASCU Accreditors Conduct Two-Day Resurvey Visit for NDMC's BSIS Program
Notre Dame of Midsayap College welcomes the PAASCU accrediting team for a two-day resurvey visit of the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems program on December 1–2, 2025. The evaluators include Dr. Paulino H. Gatpandan, Ms. Novie Joy C. Pelobello, Dr. Daisy S. Yap, and Dr. Gertrude G. Danao, with Mr. Alex E. Gesmundo serving as the PAASCU representative.
The first day centers on classroom observations across the BSIS program, allowing the accreditors to evaluate teaching methods, student engagement, and the overall learning environment. They also hold interviews with selected faculty members and staff to gain insights into program operations, resource management, and institutional support.
On the second day, the team continues their class observations and interviews before proceeding to a meeting with Information Systems students to gather perspectives on academic experience and program effectiveness. This is followed by a session with the full-time IS faculty, focusing on curriculum implementation, professional development, and alignment with industry needs.
The visit concludes with a post-accreditation meeting with school and program administrators, where the accreditors share their initial observations and recommendations. After the formal discussions, the NDMC community hosts a solidarity night, a simple gathering meant to offer gratitude for the team’s time and service. The evening serves as a gesture of fellowship, allowing administrators, faculty, and the accrediting team to connect in a relaxed setting while celebrating the shared commitment to continuous growth. The activity highlights NDMC’s dedication to quality assurance and its ongoing efforts to strengthen the Information Systems program.
