NDMC Delegation Joins Regional Mathematics Olympics 2025 in Region XII

The Regional Mathematics Olympics (RMO) 2025 was successfully held on November 20–21, 2025, at Tupi National High School, gathering outstanding young mathematicians from across Region XII. The two-day event aimed to promote excellence in mathematics, strengthen camaraderie among participating schools, and celebrate learners’ analytical abilities.

Representing NDMC, Romell Salicena competed in the Individual Quiz Category, guided by his coach, Patrick James R. Guarino. The opening program featured inspiring messages from regional education leaders who emphasized the importance of mathematics in developing critical thinking and preparing students for future challenges.

During the contest proper, participants tackled rigorous mathematical problems requiring accuracy, speed, and strong reasoning skills. Romell demonstrated focus and determination throughout the competition, reflecting his dedication and the strong mentorship behind him.

The event concluded with the awarding of certificates and closing remarks encouraging students to continue nurturing their passion for mathematics. NDMC’s participation in RMO 2025 reaffirmed its commitment to academic excellence and the holistic development of its learners.
