NDMC Junior High School Celebrates Panag-ambit 2025: Strengthening Faith, Culture, and Global Unity
Midsayap, Cotabato – Notre Dame of Midsayap College – Junior High School successfully celebrated Panag-ambit 2025 on October 30, 2025, at the Bulwagang Genoveva Deles Jaranilla, bringing together students in a meaningful celebration of the Month of the Holy Rosary and United Nations Month under the theme, "With Mary We Walk in Faith and Hope: 80 Years of the Philippines' Commitment to the United Nations."
Organized by the Araling Panlipunan Club and Religion Club, the event highlighted the importance of faith, cultural appreciation, peace, and global solidarity while providing students with opportunities to showcase their talents, creativity, and understanding of world cultures.
The celebration commenced with a Marian procession from the Junior High School Student Lounge to the venue, followed by the solemn praying of the Holy Rosary. The formal program featured welcome messages, inspiring presentations, and exciting competitions that encouraged both academic excellence and artistic expression.
One of the highlights of the event was the Human Mannequin Contest, where Grade 7 to Grade 10 students proudly showcased traditional costumes from different countries while explaining their historical and cultural significance. The Marian Choral Competition likewise filled the venue with songs of faith and devotion, reflecting the students' musical talents and deep reverence for the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Prior to the culminating activity, students also participated in various competitions, including the Quiz Bee, Diorama Contest, and Newscasting Contest, allowing them to demonstrate their knowledge, creativity, research skills, and effective communication. Outstanding participants were recognized during the awarding ceremony, celebrating their excellence and dedication.
More than a school celebration, Panag-ambit 2025 served as a meaningful learning experience that strengthened students' appreciation of cultural diversity, historical awareness, Marian spirituality, and the values of peace, respect, and global citizenship. Through collaborative activities and healthy competition, participants developed leadership, teamwork, creativity, and confidence while embracing the Notre Dame values of faith, service, and excellence.
The successful conduct of Panag-ambit 2025 reflects Notre Dame of Midsayap College's continued commitment to holistic education by nurturing students who are academically competent, culturally aware, spiritually grounded, and socially responsible citizens.
