Notre Dame of Midsayap College (NDMC) successfully conducted its Faculty General Assembly on August 13, 2026, from 3:30 to 5:00 PM at the Primera Function Hall. Hosted by the College of Education, the assembly gathered faculty and staff for institutional updates, important reminders, and the sharing of knowledge and best practices gained from various seminars, trainings, conferences, and conventions.

The program featured updates from the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Engr. Ronniel D. Labio, PCpE, DIT, and a discussion on the In-Campus and Off-Campus Activities Guidelines and Requirements by Director of Student Affairs and Services Ariel Villaflor. A major highlight was the Re-Echo of Seminars, Trainings, Conferences, and Conventions, where faculty representatives shared valuable insights on professional development, innovation, technology, research, pedagogy, physical education, teacher education, and specialized fields.

Faculty representatives from the different colleges and departments presented key learnings, including CPALE-focused faculty development, human-centered innovation, mathematics and technology, forensic training, quantum computing, English language teaching, folk dance preservation, physical education and lifelong fitness, ASEAN teacher education, and curriculum reforms aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These presentations emphasized the importance of continuously updating professional knowledge and adapting teaching practices to meet emerging educational and societal needs.

The assembly reinforced the value of continuous professional development, collaboration, innovation, and learner-centered education. It encouraged faculty members to translate knowledge gained from external professional engagements into meaningful classroom practices and institutional initiatives.

Moving forward, NDMC faculty and staff are encouraged to apply and share the knowledge gained, integrate innovative and learner-centered strategies, utilize appropriate technology and AI tools, monitor implementation, and evaluate their impact on teaching practices and student learning outcomes. Through these efforts, the Faculty General Assembly served as a meaningful platform for strengthening professional growth and advancing the quality of education at NDMC.
