Notre Dame Spirit on Canvas: An On-the-Spot Painting Competition
Notre Dame of Midsayap College celebrated Notre Dame Day on September 8, 2026, with a meaningful showcase of student creativity through The Notre Dame Spirit on Canvas: An On-the-Spot Painting Competition
The activity brought together eight teams of student-artists from the Senior High School and College units, each presenting their own artistic interpretation.
Through colors, symbols, and imagery, the student-artists expressed their understanding of the Notre Dame spirit—its faith, values, traditions, and spirit of community. Many of the artworks featured Mama Mary reflecting the students' appreciation of the College's Catholic identity and the significance of the Blessed Virgin Mary to the Notre Dame tradition.
After the artworks were evaluated, Precious Sybyl Hope C. Artizada and Anisha Orquia Borero, Senior High School student-artists, were named BEST ARTISTIC REPRESENTATION OF THE NOTRE DAME SPIRIT.

The awarding, held as part of the Notre Dame Day celebration on September 8, honored the students’ artistic expressions while celebrating the 85th Founding Anniversary of Notre Dame of Midsayap College and the continuing legacy they help carry forward.
