NDMC Receives Commendation for Excellence in Internationalization, Rankings, and Licensure Performance

Notre Dame of Midsayap College (NDMC) was recognized for its continuing commitment to internationalization and academic excellence during the ASEAN Culminating Activity held on August 27, 2026, at the Tacurong Convention Center in Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat.

NDMC received a Certificate of Commendation, accepted by Vice President for Academic Affairs Engr. Ronniel D. Labio, PCpE, DIT, together with Director for External Affairs Mrs. Leodelyn V. Delosa, MSRED, and College of Education faculty member Mr. Raffy Virtucio, MEAL.

The recognition highlighted NDMC’s 47th worldwide ranking in the WURI Global Ranking – Inclusive Social Innovation for the Underserved (C6 Category) through its TekNow sa Baryo Program, a community-centered extension initiative of the College of Information Technology and Engineering (CITE) in collaboration with the Community Extension Services Office.

NDMC was also recognized for its strong performance in professional licensure examinations, including an 88.10% passing rate and Rank 8 in the February 2026 Licensure Examination for Criminologists, and 100% passing rates in the September 2025 Licensure Examination for Social Workers (22/22) and the November 2025 Nurses Licensure Examination (81/81).

Adding to these achievements, Bailyn Dagadas Nandang ranked 9th nationwide in the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers – Elementary Level, with an outstanding 92.40% rating.

These accomplishments reflect NDMC’s commitment to SDG 4: Quality Education through the delivery of quality academic programs, strong licensure performance, and the development of competent and globally competitive graduates. The institution’s TekNow sa Baryo Program also advances SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure by promoting technology-based solutions and inclusive social innovation, particularly for underserved communities.

Through its continued engagement in internationalization, academic benchmarking, community extension, and professional excellence, NDMC strengthens its contribution to SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, demonstrating the importance of collaboration in advancing inclusive and sustainable development.
