Pendon, BSED- English III The Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) is the national qualifying examination for professional teachers in the Philippines mandated by Republic Act No. 7836 otherwise known as the Philippine Teachers Professionalization Act of 1994. This examination is held twice a year, one in March and another in September. This exam is divided into three tests: General Education, Professional Education, and Content Courses. Recently, the Professional Regulation Commission released its official list of new professional teachers. Ramirez in for AYLC 2018 By Michael Neil Bayog-ang, BSED- Biological Science IV Jonel D. Ramirez, a junior BSED- Social Studies student, has qualified as one of the Top 80 Ayala Young Leaders Congress (AYLC) 2018 participants. The 20th AYLC took place at Batangas City on February 19-26. The Top 80 winners underwent a rigorous selection process. Their journey started from a pool of applicant nationwide, further trimmed down in the paper-screening process, and then finally the panel interviews. They were evaluated not just on their academic performance but also on their leadership experience in their respective communities. Reaching out to the less privileged children of the society has always been one of the core commitments of the English Circle (EC). For this academic year, the Grade 2 pupils of Miguel Intes Elementary School were the beneficiaries of the gift-giving activity dubbed as ‘Sharing the Gifts of Joy and Love Year 7’ on December 8, 2017.
