PE Festival 2022 Revives Olympic Animo | Article

After 3 years, PE festival was again revived last June 04, 2022 with the theme: "Physical Education: Promoting Peace, Camaraderie, and Sportsmanship Amidst Pandemic". Students under PE 102 - Rhythmic Activities and PE 104 – Team Sports were the participants of the said activity.  Early in the morning during the opening program, the Bulwagang Genoveva Deles Jaranilla, NDMC Gymnasium was filled with excitement, cheers and yells  of the PE 104 students for the bench-cheering competition.  Five teams competed: Team Leo, Team Pisces, Team Aries, Team Aquarius, Team Sagittarius, and Team Taurus. The first NSTP Graduation after the Pandemic | Article

The 20th NSTP graduation program commenced on June 3 at Bulwagang Genoveva Deles Jaranilla with a theme, Grateful and Grate: Making a positive Difference for 80 Years and Beyond.  The program was spearheaded by the office of the NSTP Program Coordinator, Mrs. Rosario J. It was an answered prayer to finally march down the aisle and personally receive the prized diploma.  The 61st Commencement Exercises last May 29will be written in history as the resumption of face to face graduation since the Covid 19 outbreak in 2019. The Baccalaureate Mass was held in the morning at the Bulwagang Genoveva Deles-Jaranilla. Fr. Jonathan R. Domingo, OMI – NDMC President was the presider. The Home of Topnotchers – College of Education has the biggest haul of academic awardees in the 61st Commencement Exercises on May 29.  There are 26 academic awardees from CED out of the total 43.  The College of Business and Accountancy has 12 academic awardees, followed by the College of Arts and Sciences with 3 awardees.  Both the College of Criminal Justice Education and College of Nursing have 1 awardee. These are just some of the pouring emotions of the college students who will receive the 7th release of the Tertiary Educational Subsidy from May 26-28.  The much awaited TES release just came at the right time for the students to pay for their final examination. But they already had the experience how to impress employers to be during their mock job interview last May 10-11.  The activity is under the program of activities of the Guidance and Testing Center that aims to facilitate the graduating students on one of the most crucial stage of being a graduate – job application. A hefty 80K grand prize was awarded for a victory party celebration in Villa Amparo in the Island Garden City of Samal last April 7-9.  It was a simultaneous Samal Getaway Celebration along with the IBED and NTP.
