The CED Family Day is one of the best features of the college. The activity aims to foster closer relationships between and among CED faculty, parents and students. The CED Family Day was held last January 25 at the De Mazenod Student Lounge 3. It encouraged the parents to express different concerns of their children as well as giving opportunity to the college dean to present developments and plans of the College of Education. Concerns and activities of the college in connection with the students’ development were all laid down during the said event, most importantly the status of the Tertiary Educational Subsidy. The clash between NDMC and Looy Integrated Technical Vocational High School from South Upi is one for the books having generated fandom from the netizens and spectators. At the closing ceremonies of Halad 2020, Grupong Sayap clinched the Halad 2020 Grand Champion title winning P300K cash prize plus trophy. With evident confidence, eloquence and spontaneity, Julienne Sheen Collado Fresnoza, 23, a High School English teacher from St. Mary’s Academy sealed her fate as the new Mutya ng Midsayap. It was during the Search for Mutya ng Alumni - a fund-raising contest for the homecoming queen, that everyone generously put in amount for this noble undertaking. The College of Nursing hosted a testimonial dinner last December 14 at the Primera Function Hall in honor of the 2019 Nursing Licensure Exam passers. This event is dedicated to the passers for clutching the Back-to-Back 100% passing rate and the people behind their triumphs in the board exams. Dr. Nathalie S. Nadela, RN. Earthquakes can move mountains but it cannot literally and figuratively move the Testimonial Dinner for the second batch of Electronics Engineer. Amidst the two natural phenomenon (earthquake and a heavy rainfall) that occurred last Sunday, December 16 the CITE students and the faculty bravely and glamorously wore their black formal attire to welcome the pride of the CITE department – their new Registered Electronic Engineers.
